Later it will be too late to short at a good price.

Also, the stock will be dropping so fast that it will be hard to get an uptick.

I would have invested in MCLL too at 2.19 a share.. which is what they invested at. Daytraders took this one up, and daytraders shall take this one down.

Short and in the money. I hope we can both make money on this one.

It's gonna sell on earnings..

<Don't think PSINET was a fool either by investing in MCLL!>

Not for a minute. But PSINET had a number of things going for it that you or I don't:

1)They paid $2.19/share, thus defining their risk much more favorably than those paying 3-7 times that

2)As an internet co., they will not be punished by the market if they pissed the whole $17 million down the toilet

3)As an internet co., obtaining customers and revenues, which they are potentially doing here, is rewarded by the stock market, even if the investment did nothing for public investors

MCLL has some possibilities for the strategic investors even if its strategy ends up flopping for its public investors, which is very highly likely, given the cost and competition involved. In the best of cases, any evidence of success will come well after 95% of the current daytraders who own it have forgotten its symbol.

When to short MCLL

"You're one brave soul to short MCLL at this time. Why don't you wait until volume slows down or trend turns down with heavy volume?"

I guess it looks a little less brave after this morning? Timing is tough though; lots of people got in too early.

Why didn't you get out when the momentum started to falter yesterday? You're a brave soul too!

I don't think the stock will touch 13 again, though we'll no doubt bounce around.

Best,
Kailash

Is it ok to short MCLL now?

>>"You're one brave soul to short MCLL at this time. Why don't you wait until volume slows down or trend turns down with heavy volume?"<<<

Is volume slowing down and trend turns down good enough to start shorting this PIG?
