Andrew, i'm aware that AMZN has valuable assets that could be milked in x number of ways. imo that's what they're trying to do, and as long as the street is prepared to finance their losses, they can continue to try. i have a feeling though that they're taking on too many things at once, which is another way of saying that your spin-off idea is probably the way to go.
