Agreement Enables the Development of the First Broadband Travel Web Site Enabling Television-Quality Videos
NEW YORK, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- On2.com Inc. (ASE: ONT), a leader in broadband content delivery over the Internet, and United Airlines, an e-commerce leader in the airline industry, today announced a strategic alliance to co-develop and market the first travel Web site featuring television-quality travel videos in addition to providing consumers with helpful travel information and e-commerce capabilities. Under the terms of the agreement, On2.com and United will develop and co-market travel content and e-commerce capabilities on the On2Network. United will help facilitate strategic travel industry advertising, marketing and content partners. As On2 refines its travel content and product offerings, the companies will explore collaborative efforts in the development of additional online content and purchasing features for broadband-enabled consumers.
