There is nothing more unjust than slaughtering innocent creatures for your own convenience. The dehumanizing of developing fetuses is no different than what groups have done throughout history to rationalize the wholesale slaughter of their innocent victims. No one was for terrorism, but for an understanding of how some might be goaded. Second, the wars in places like the Balkans and Northern Ireland do not turn on doctrine, but on ethnic control of territory, and therefore it is misleading to call them religious. Third, your typical bombed church has nothing to do with any of those things anyway. Fourth, most denominations do not place restrictions on birth control, and many Catholics disobey in that area (besides, few Catholic Churches are bombed). Fifth, fetal research is, at least, morally dubious. Sixth, unlike abortion clinics, churches serve other functions, providing day care, education, food, and other services. Seventh, historically, the bombing of churches has been associated with the attempt to repress Southern blacks, not protest on behalf of fetal research. So yes, it is trivial, and an inapt comparison......
