Dear johnd and Thread:

Any thoughts about MSFT re-positioning intself for a self-directed split up? Is this the corporate vision of the empire 'softee's' believe-in, or the WIN-ME PERSONAL COMPUTING SPLIT/OFF Billy could run?:

"Founded in 1975, Microsoft (Nasdaq ``MSFT') is the worldwide leader in software for personal computers. The company offers a wide range of products and services for business and personal use, each designed with the mission of making it easier and more enjoyable for people to take advantage of the full power of personal computing every day."

PS
Just wondering after reading the following:

biz.yahoo.com

No mention of WebTV, Network Appliance Software, MSNBC,
Expedia, etc etc etc

CISCO Just came in with Great Revenue Earnings and is up 5 on Instanet. This stock may propel the Nasdaq techs tomorrow and Microsoft is getting ready to rock and roll. It is a great value play
based on the revenue stream that is expected from the wide spread purchase of windows 2000.
