FM has played this one beautifully.

First they put a lid on the stock @ $1.99 yesterday after it hit $2 and looked like it might run.

Today , Messina announces deal could close as late as the 28th. Index funds who stayed in to see if the stock would pop on Messina news sell into the bid , as they have to be out by the 18th.

Then , lo and behold , who starts crossing?

What's the old maxim - you want to buy a stock, make it look like chit first.
