Cisco is very expensive right now, no doubt. But if you are going to look up numbers, you should use something more reliable than Yahoo for their 'earnings'.

Have you seen the Nortel ads comparing their price with Cisco's? Will Cisco's margins be under pressure? Is a router so complicated as to present a significant entry barrier?

Routers are extremely complicated. But Cisco's key to the golden gate is in IOS, the proprietary software that runs their hardware and essentially runs the internet.

Nortel should pay people to take their routers. Even though they are doing KMART, they continue to lose share.
