RSA Security's Industry-Leading Encryption Technology Offered in OpenSite AuctionNow and OpenSite Dynamic Pricing Toolkit

BEDFORD, Mass., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA Security Inc. (Nasdaq: RSAS) and OpenSite Technologies, Inc. today announced that RSA BSAFE(R) Crypto-C software has been integrated into OpenSite AuctionNow(TM) and OpenSite Dynamic Pricing Toolkit(TM). The combination of RSA Security's technology and OpenSite's dynamic commerce software is intended to enable sites to encrypt important customer data before storing it in database files, and ensure that OpenSite customers have access to powerful Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

RSA BSAFE Crypto-C software is one of the world's best-selling cryptography engines and provides software developers with multiple algorithms and modules for adding encryption and authentication features to applications. RSA BSAFE Crypto-C software includes modules for popular security encryption techniques, such as RSA(TM), DES, RC2(R), RC4(R), RC5(TM), and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), and is also designed to support digital signatures and certificates.
