Jim...skeeter belongs to the Burkehead (perma bears) club. Once a member takes a position, that's it. No amount of rationality will change their minds. I've not seen a thread on SI whose posters are as stubborn as an Ozark farmer's mule. Frustrating as it may be, that's just the way it is.

>>You've loaned 100B to a group of homebuyers in February 2000, that have agreed to your terms of the loan, which is they pay you a single lump sum payment of 661.43B in February 2030.<<

jbc, 30 year tbills don't pay a lump sum at the end of 30 years.

as i told you before, you are misapplying correct formulas. your $57.2 was wrong. perhaps it is right under the circumstances of a lump sum payment (i don't care to doublecheck), but a lump sum payment was never part of the equation.

the only reason it is now is b/c you have trouble admitting you were wrong.

btw, can you sell me some tbills that w/ an 11% return? how about all i can buy? ;-)
