Tony,

Congratulations to you (and me) on Cisco. Intel was trading up in sympathy.

Currently listening to real bad, full of static "music", waiting for the CSCO CC. Can't these companies get some better music? Oh well, guess I can afford a few CD's.

John

Tony - Re: "Was ovonic also known as "amorphous semiconductors"? Intel's first investing dud? "

That's exactly right !

You've got a great memory - better than Intel's it appears - since they are sending more of our money down that rat hole.

As far as Intel's first investing Dud - I don't think so !

They invested in some tiny GaAs company in the late 1960's that eventually brought them Gerry Parker - and they also invested in that one guy - Gilbert Hyatt - who, for a while, was granted a PATENT on the Microprocessor !
