Manulife Financial, a leading provider of financial protection products and
investment management services, has selected Microforum to supply new media
products for its Canadian division for the year 2000. Financial details were not
disclosed.
Under the terms of the agreement, Microforum will provide graphic design,
processing and CD-ROM duplication of the client software programs that
Manulife supplies to its client and adviser base. Additionally, Microforum will
provide specified supply chain management services to Manulife.
"This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Microforum's ability to deliver
integrated content based and tactical execution solutions," said Howard Pearl,
president and chief executive officer of Microforum. "We are looking forward to
working with Manulife Financial."
"We are pleased to establish a strong relationship with Microforum, which is an
important ally providing services to help our clients make better financial
decisions," said Trevor Matthews, Manulife's executive vice-president of
Canadian operations.
