mad dog,

this market is beyond rational thinking. i still expect a downdraft, but it sure doesn't look like it wants to head that way. john had said that if things don't start down by tomorrow afternoon, then we'll have to reevaluate...but it may be that i just don't know squat.

personally, i'm just trading when i can, otherwise, long term holds remain same, short term stuff is closely watched. i haven't gotten puts, but tomorrow morning may be time for me. might as well throw some money away.

MD, we still have the NASD momentum divergence sell in place

and we have closed outside of the Bollinger Bands for the only time this year, this is statistically abnormal, and we should move back into a trading range, of which we are at the top currently.

and we are at an extreme in the linear regression using the data series since the Oct 8th 1998 low.

the two grey boxes even may be showing a price pattern similar to earlier in the year.
