OK then since you posed the question about the multiple to cash flow in 1993 - provide the answer? I don't have access to the data - others may have. But in 1993 Barrick's cash flow was a fraction of what it is today - the share price (according to you) was the same - I'm guessing that the multiple of m/v to cash flow the was far higher. I'm not sure BTW if you're talking of price/cash flow on a year's trailing or ahead - but so long as it's consistent between then and now it doesn't matter. You're fond of using the market price of the shares as a comparison in absolute terms - but this time you brought the multiple to cash flow into the discussion - so let's have it?
