OT-- front porch...actually it's a simple 3/12 pitch into an existing 8/12 roof on an old turn of the century....no, not the one we turned just the other day--house in our little mountain "village". You outta see the lumber this thing is framed out of - full cut (and then some) 2x6 studs in the wall with full thickness 1x8 subsheathing and clapboard over that. I'm trying to bring it up to date and still honor the time in which it was built. ON Topic -- noticed that pnlk was #5 most active board on RB today. hmmmm...
