I think you underestimate Gore. I that Gore is intelligent, hard-working, well-educated, and absolutely determined to win this year.

I think that Bush scores lower on all these points when compared to Gore. He has been slow to wake up to the fact that he's going to have to fight for the nomination.

In the Republican debates that I heard, I thought that the two winners were consistently Keyes (the most articulate by far) and McCain. Bush kept mouthing empty platitudes about "leadership", "education", and "values". He would have to do better than that to win against Gore.
