Wayne, Since I am buying development level cos. and not the Amgens and Biotechs, my main focus on the accounting is cash burn and cash generation. Also, I keep a hairy eyeball on the equity deals they make with big drug cos. But I will be long gone before the drugs ever start showing enough profit that we have to worry about quality of reported eps. Capitalizing expenses only works if you are a dinky startup co. like Intel. <g>
