Some time ago a one time poster suggested that the Athlon was "smooth". Your description using the same descriptor "smooth" is intriguing as it is not the normal way one might describe a computer performance...yet "smooth" the Athlon is and it is this noticeably-different-from-competitiors "hands on" feel that will ultimately fuel the exponential growth that is currently in its initial stage...Anyone using an Athlon cannot escape this smooth feel!

AMD might do well to use the currently popular Santana song, Smooth, in its marketing campaign to reinforce this distinct characteristic of the Athlon!

The Athlon is smooth! Not a lot more more need be said to convey this differenting feature of the Athlon!
