Tenchusatsu,

"Steve, <if FAB 25 isn't at capacity yet?>

When was Fab 25 EVER at capacity?

Tenchusatsu"

Webster:
ca-pac-i-ty n., pl. -ies
The ability to contain, receive, or absorb; having the aptitude or ability to do something; the maximum production or output;

The question is:

Why do you think AMD obviously has to decrease K6 production at FAB 25 to increase Athlon production if FAB 25 is not at capacity?

My comment: I don't think so, based upon AMD conference calls.

steve

Ten - Re: "When was Fab 25 EVER at capacity?"

Perhaps when Fab 25 was making the VERY successful K5?

Fab 25 was built for the purpose of making the better mousetrap, the K5.
