Yes, I think being a congressman has given him experience, and I think any degrees earned or at least pursued are to be counted, and a certain amount of life experience can be counted.

I would not say, in this day and age, that military experience from WW2 or Korean conflict or even Viet Nam or any war should be a number one criteria , just as I do not believe lack of military experience necessarily makes a bad candidate.

If McCain stands up against criteria other than his war record, then he may be nominated, if so, I will vote for him, as I know he is pro-life.
