1999 Operating Losses of $320,000,000 - while Intel posted PROFITS of $8,000,000,0000

Try not to wrap around a lamppost while you're looking in your rear-view mirror--I might be taking a stroll through S'vale.

How long until Intel can make just a penny per share per day to support its over-priced stock and do that split you predicted for this year?

Paul Re... <<<AMD's management is this smart - 1 profitable quarter in the past year.

You sure like the losers, SpryGuy !

Paul>>>>>>>>

Paul if you feel that way why don't you put your money where your mouth is? I bet AMD makes more cents per share q1-00 after including one time deductions (no cheating here). $100 bet.

Hi Paul:

Re: "AMD's management is this smart - 1 profitable quarter in the past year. 1999 Operating Losses of $320,000,000 - while Intel posted PROFITS of $8,000,000,0000."

Comment (1): Paul you really should stop living in the past...You're starting to sound like that little old lady again who sits by her window and while not peeking out from behind the curtain has a need to reminisce about past (as in finished) accomplishments! You should spend as much of your time considering the future Paul, and if you did, I'm sure you'd conclude, as have I, that AMD after tax eps in Y2000 will be at least 1.25 times that of Intel!

Re: "You sure like the losers, SpryGuy !"

Comment (2): If you are defining AMD as a loser whose eps will be at least 1.25 times Intel in Y2000, what term is it that you apply to Intel?...
By the way, Paul, help me find some more losers that are currently at $41.37, not only up from your infamous $35-11/16's of not more than one week ago (Feb. 02/00 to be exact) but up from $17 in October 1999...What I even like more about your loser Paul is that this upward trend in AMD price is likely to continue for the foreseeable future based upon both technical and fundamental indicators!

With losers like this, Paul, I could grow to like your losers very rapidly...
