I mentioned Vogel. He said 96 back in what, 97, prior to the big runup into the June 8SH meeting in 1998. If only I had sold wcii and artt that day, and bought back in oct......
In any event, the artt decision was simple, I think--Rouhanna believes the value can be better deployed in his own business. He no longer had a real chance of either a takeover or a deal, what with Q all over ARTT. So, why stay if you believe your own return will outpace artt.I, for one, still believe that ARTT has greater upside potential fromhere than does WCII, although WCII has big upside from here still. I think the numbers will be real good. BTW--IR confirmed early in the p.m. that the goldman report went the other way--reuters screwed it all up!! I shoulda arbed the sh** outa it, but it didn't really pop. Maybe the word never got out?
