Holding on for long-term gains will be hard. I bought most of my position well under 5, so yes tax consequences will be severe in absolute numbers. However, I've had some experience writing very large checks to the US Treasury department, so I'll just have to prepare myself.

Ed - Just do what I do and hold the chart upside-down. "See? We can't buy anything now, at least, not until IW recovers from this steep dive!"
