Anything the StreetAdvisor reports is not worth discussing I wish it were that simple. He obviously did not make up that AOL provided him self install DSL. I would very much like to know how they are accomplishing this when apparently no other broadband provider (DSL or Cable) seems to be able to, despite the fact it should be doable. If I remember right @home plans to have ~20-30% of new subscribers self-installed by the end of 2000. Thats a long time from now. Compared to the issue of speeding up install time open access and competition from other ISP's is just background noise. It continues to be my #1 disappointment with ATHM. Why is this taking so long?
