God does not change, Brian. However, God's message to the Jews is different than His message to us as receivers of the new covenant of grace. Pharoah is only one example of God hardening a heart for destruction. I personally believe that God is sometimes the only one that stands between a heathen and his deeds. I believe that God simply removed the restraining of His power to allow Pharoah to have free will to accomplish his evil deeds. That is the way you think, is it not? James
