Just a comment without much "analysis" behind it. A friend of mine who lives in the valley told me a few weeks ago: ".....this is only going to stop when the market has sucked every available penny down the sinkhole and no more joe sixpack savings are left...". I'll take the sinkhole analogy further and call the NASDAQ a black hole. At least that's what it looks like from far away.

Maybe the last swings are a continuation pattern just like the one in early 1929 before the final "dome". Back then, the volatility was about the same +/-10% peak to trough. So, let's call a NASDAQ peak of about 5,500, just for fun. I can't help the worn-out 1929 analogy because back then we also had a low inflation/high enthusiasm/new technology cocktail.

Waiting for the supernova...(from mucho lightyears away, though).
