PAL WHAT are you thinking re: edamo .vs. lof?

Selling puts or buying calls are not at all
equivalent, its like Kiwi fruit .vs. apples.

Buy call. NO MARGIN just cash. the cash outlay
depends on the price of the OPTION which could be anywhere
from 1/16 (out of money/short time/low volatility) to
50% or more of stock price.

So the proposition is A priori absurd to compare
margin requirements for selling puts and buying calls.
