Chuck, I had not known the details of the Keating scandal before. Probably because there has not been that much flak about it. Unless this can become wide spread public knowledge, it will not deter anyone from voting for McCain. When a politician becomes a "fair haired" boy to the media, scandals have a way of getting buried. Good grief!! Look at all the bodies buried behind the Clintons. Those two don't even blink an eye at them any more because they know they have the media in their hip pocket. It is disheartening, the condition of our political, and governmental system. It is almost a signal that something drastic is bound to happen to swing the pendulum the other way.
