Gustave, Why should the Eugenic programs of Sweden come as a surprise to anyone? They are after all, the decendents of the Saxons, ie Germanic Tribes which peopled europe and gave rise to the modern Northern Europeans. Just like the entire human race, they practiced "eugenics" one way or another. In fact, if you really think about it, probably the whole modern history of Homo Sapiens has been nothing but natural selection and eugenic causes. I know its politically incorrect to say this but it is indeed a fact. Any Anthropologist can support this with data. It answers the question: What is the cause of man's inhumanity to man? The answer is: natural selection, Darwinism, survival of the fittest, what ever you want to call it. Really, if you wanted to end all of this eugenic behaviour, the first thing we must do is make women select sperm from only pooled sources so that they cannot "select" the genes they want to go into their children. I would like to see someone propose that in the United Nations! -John
