Dear Charlie: I thought distribution of film by datacom networks was underway. I remember reading about it years ago. Some of the advantages I remember was lower cost in distributing (discs cheaper than tape), faster distributing (a new film could be shown simultaneously throughout the country), better quality of sound and video, longer life of the disc vs tape. As I remember the only drawback they were tinkering with was how to make sure all royalties get paid or something like that. Anyhow, that was years ago cant believe nothing happened yet?? JDN
