Next to China, India will be the nation for commerce. It just dawned on US that India has commercial potential. That is the reason why Clinton is visiting India after a long hiatus of any US presidential visit. ... US is coming to India, because India can't just be ignored anymore. So it is in the mutual interest that US and India should cozy up.

A bunch of hooey. Clinton is going to India because he wishes to go somewhere other than Washington during his last year in office. And if India was such a big thing on the horizon, how come not even a single presidential candidate on either side has said even a single word about India during this campaign? A lot has been said about China, and to some extent, Russia and Eastern Europe, but India is nowhere.

So, the Indian government will only serve Clinton with those jilebis and tandoori chicken, and the VVIPs and bureaucratic morons of the Indian government will elbow one another for a photo-op with the leader of the most powerful country in the world. A couple of weeks later, all will be forgotten and we will be back to business as usual. The stupidity exhibited by some of you guys simply amazes me.
