Robertson Stephens Reiterates Buy Rating, Raises Price Target on ASDV

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2000--Robertson Stephens Senior eBusiness Software Analyst Kash Rangan today reiterated his Buy rating and raised his price target on Aspect Development (NASDAQ:ASDV).

"We are reiterating our Buy rating on ASDV, as we believe the company continues to demonstrate the solidification of its strategy for B2B eCommerce," said Rangan. "The company recently announced its intent to partner with CommerceOne on joint sales and marketing initiatives, whereby CommerceOne will be reselling Aspect's content management software solutions. In addition, the company announced an agreement by which i2 Technologies will be using ASDV as the preferred content management solution for its TradeMatrix.com eMarketplace."

"ASDV has started to address an emerging need for content management applications as Global 1000 manufacturing and industrial distribution enterprises start to leverage the Web and create private trading exchanges," said Rangan. "These exchanges are expected to become the preferred mode of doing business and we believe ASDV is well-positioned to provide content management solutions"

"We believe the ASDV story will be one to watch in 2000 as the company transforms into a B2B eMarketplace infrastructure player, leveraging its content and decision support expertise," said Rangan. "We are raising our price target to $130."
