Les, Myron Scholes is a man to reckon with. After all, how many people have developed quantitative theories strong enough to nearly ruin the US financial system, as MY RUNS did during the LTCM fiasco? The letter writer is right on the money and Scholes is in his whitewashed tin tower. He can't afford ivory after nearly bankrupting America. <g> BTW, I wish that were true. But the LTCM bums did not suffer much for their gambling.
