There's some interesting comments from Regan Fund Mgmt. @ CNET/Bloomberg News on Jan. 6th about the NEWZ/ROWE deal Reg ... just trying to keep an open mind.

Well Reg my friend, the merger is off ... so much for moving on & closing up the bank. NEWZ & ROWE have now become strategic partners, along with NewsEdge's many others. Kinda wondered who was benefiting who from that engagement. BTW, did you hear that Tim Luke is an analyst for Lehman Brothers? Imagine that, think when we first met in SI Land, I called him something like Tim Cool Hand Luke ... kudos Tim, wherever you might be. Maybe Rod is still interested, now that the merger is off and the arbitrage positions are probably unwinding. Still holding a small position, of course, along with Basil, etc. See ya....
