I did not imply that Reagan did nothing but stand in front of a camera. I was asked what qualifications McCain had to be President, the question itself carrying an implication that his credentials were not apparent. I replied by asking what credentials Ronald Reagan had to be President, hoping that the commentator would reflect on this and realize that Reagan's qualifications were certainly no better than McCain's. Unfortunately, some did not grasp the point, and misinterpreted this as an attack on Reagan. Far from it.

I agree with you that MCCain is qualified, by experience. Which is the original point.
