Kevin,

Gum Tech's press release said:

"The demand for Zicam(TM) during the quarter was tremendous after our formal launch on November 1, 1999. Two months after the launch, according to sales data, Zicam(TM) was in the top 2% of the cough and cold category."

I apologize if "cold remedies" has a different connotation than "cough and cold category". The cough and cold category certainly includes products such as Dristan, Robitussin, and Nyquil.

I'll bet Tickle Me Elmo was in the top 2% of toy sales the first year it came too but where is the little guy now?
