NOIZ moving on news for new wireless orders.....

(BSNS WIRE) Micronetics Awarded More Orders For MicroCal Module; Initial
Micronetics Awarded More Orders For MicroCal Module; Initial Orders For
Built-in-Test Component For Wireless Broadband

HUDSON, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2000--Micronetics
Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ:NOIZ) announced today that it received a low
six figure follow-on order to supply its 3.5 GHz MicroCal(TM) surface
mount switches and attenuators. It also announced that it received
initial orders to supply its MicroCal built-in-test noise source
component for use by a leader in wireless data communication solutions
in its point to multi-point broadband wireless radios. These radios
are designed for broadband wireless networks.
Micronetics' MicroCal module is being used to assess and validate
component and system performance in a wireless local loop (WLL)
system. This application enables a WLL system operator to add
subscribers without the need to send an installer to the residence of
the WLL subscriber, thus reducing installation cost and increasing
speed of the WLL system roll-out.
Dave Robbins, Senior Vice President of Micronetics/Components
stated, "These MicroCal Modules are designed for use in wireless and
land mobile communication systems, cellular phone networks and
satellite receivers. The fact that we are getting repeat orders for
this product is reassuring because it reflects acceptance of our
customer's products in the marketplace. Based on current interest in
our MicroCal modules, we are taking steps to reduce manufacturing
costs for our second generation proprietary integrated module and
intend to pass along these savings to current and future customers. We
are working with new customers to develop additional applications for
our MicroCal line of products."
Regarding the initial orders for our MicroCal built-in-test noise
source, it is being used in the front-end receiver of point to
multi-point broadband radios to provide a stable calibrated signal. By
installing these built-in-test noise sources in each radio in the
network, designers, developers and manufacturers of these systems have
a simple test mechanism to insure that their network is functioning
properly and to aid in debugging system problems.
Ralph Marrone, Vice President of Micronetics/Equipment, stated,
"To get designed into this customer's point to multi-point broadband
wireless radios is a great design win for us. The fact that our
MicroCal products are getting designed in for built-in test
applications is further validation of our strategy to develop our
proprietary MicroCal product line. We are developing several
variations of our MicroCal products: in module and component form to
accommodate the needs of different customers for stand-alone
components or fully-integrated modules. Production roll-out of this
point to multi-point radio is expected later this year."

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless manufactures broadband
test equipment and components used in the design, testing and
manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop and satellite
equipment through its Micronetics/Equipment Group, and manufactures
microwave components and subassemblies primarily used in radar, test
equipment, electronic counter-intelligence, wireless communications
and electronic simulation applications through its
Micronetics/Components Group.

Statements in this press release contain forward-looking
material. Actual results may vary due to a number of risks and
uncertainties and should be viewed in conjunction with Micronetics
Annual Report for its fiscal year ended March 31, 1999.
