Peacock Financial Reaffirms Support in Desert Winds Entertainment
Corp.

SAN DIEGO, Feb 9, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Peacock Financial Corp.
(OTCBB:PFCK) clarified its position with regard to Desert Winds
Entertainment (OTCBB:DESW), a film and stage production company based
in Mesa, Ariz.

Peacock management today stated that it has a strong vote of confidence
in Desert Winds Entertainment, and that it wishes this position to be
made known to shareholders of both companies.

Steven R. Peacock, president and CEO of Peacock Financial, commented:
"We believe the announcement made earlier this week pertaining to our
decision to convert an existing 1999 note into Desert Winds
Entertainment common stock may have been misinterpreted by some
investors.

"The purpose of converting was so Peacock Financial could show the DESW
asset on their balance sheet and grow with Desert Winds Entertainment
as a long-term investor. We are definitely not sellers!"

In a Feb. 7, 2000, news release, Peacock said: "We believe the
valuation (of DESW) will be much greater in the future."

Peacock management sees the potential in the fast-growing digital
television industry and in broadcasting programming over the Internet,
a niche that Desert Winds has both the technological expertise and the
access to content to execute.

"We want to be part of this company's future, as it fits extremely well
with our investment philosophy," stated Peacock.

Peacock Financial, as a registered BDC (Business Development Company),
often has been referred to as an identifier of young, emerging
companies that, whenever possible, it "incubates" by acquiring an
equity stake, and subsequently offers its shareholders shares of such
companies via a stock dividend. More information about Peacock
Financial can be found at www.peacockfinancial.com.

AMMB . . . it won't double in one day (or one hour) like some of our quick pennies here, but I feel comfortable having a large chunk in it as a medium term hold.
