Hairy :

The float has turned over several times in the past month. The long term strong hands still control this stock. I'll just give you one reason why. A long term holder will hold onto precious shares, and not be tempted to trade shares because of not wanting to give up long term cap gain status. A better opportunity will come along and still they hold because they figure the next opportunity has to be almost twice as good if the probability is to take short term gains on the next opportunity.

A great strategy is to search for stocks with long undiscovered periods or long basing patterns. When they do take off ( as in TSIS ) they will tend to have very strong support levels. I believe such will be the case with TSIS, and also this explains the settling down and the base building.

OTOH stocks with a volatile past will be more volatile because the tax basis of the investor base will be more short term......just an opinion...

The large volume buys are probably the mom and pops who put their order in the night before and then go to work while the market opens in the morning.

The big boys do their accumulating during the day.
