APA definitely has my interest as well. They produce in a big way, yet are being thrown out with the companies whose balance sheets are so weak. I am looking into them this morning to try to find a reason to not be a buyer. Perhaps the market isn't sure the forward PE of 15 is justified?

FST - what IS the deal with Forest Oil? That thing continues to melt down on no news. From $13 all the way down to $7 1/2, down over 40% from recent highs! Hard to believe it's just an institution getting out. -John

My favorite new play in the "Fighting Irish" playbook: The O'Reilly reverse. <g> biz.yahoo.com Since the $18 oil call got tackled in the backfield, maybe a trick play can gain back some field position. Whoa, the linebackers blitzed O'Reilly heavily today, got hit by Mike Singletary, Lawrence Taylor, and Harry Carson all combined. Thrown, for 20 yard loss, and dropped the ball. Damn, he even got booed off the field by his own fans. Maybe he'll get lucky and only be traded, then again he may just get cut. I can see the headlines in tomorrows New York Post. - THE FUMBLE - All NY Giants fans remember that one.
