DSL is becoming easy installation

If it's so easy, how come every quote I get for having DSL installed at my business warns that it'll take 4-6 weeks to get my site set up?

All this is is online prequal and signing up. It doesn't mean self installation. Northpoint has the same thing. You type in your address and it responds with a "you're serviceable" message.
