Paul...how would going long CYMER be any different? We're long stocks, aren't we? They could all theoretically collapse into a black hole. Selling puts to be put is a useful strategy. I thought BridgePlayers post just now "put" it very well. :-)

PAL, have you checked the price of CYMI recently? If one investor sold a naked put, accepted the assignment, had faith in the company, and still has the stock; and the second simply bot the stock at market and still holds it, guess what? The guy who sold the put is ahead today, both relatively, and in actuality.
