glad that adjustment worked.

re systemworks... i think that the main offender is crashguard, an ironically named component within the utility suite. it can be disabled very easily. perhaps if you elect to reinstall systemworks, you can either not install crashguard, or just keep it turned off. i've been running without it for quite some time.

i'll be glad to show you the option settings that prevent crashguard from starting, if you ever decide to go back to systemworks. i personally think the software is excellent. i wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water, if that metaphor makes sense here...
