A couple of things that still stick in my mind regarding the Mot case are these two things. After the jurors went out one juror called for the Judge for an explanation. The juror needed to know what was the difference between a land line and a cellular line" I ask one question? Was this juror qualified to even be on a jury? Thank God for Markman.

The other thing was a testimony on prior art. It was said the witness agreed prior art was used but he likened what IDC did to what the Wright Brothers did. He said the Wright Brothers took various prior art such as an engine,a wheel, and various other prior art and made something that flew. He then asked, did they not invent the airplane?
