This could be an interesting "season" of press releases for Novell. If Novell plays their cards right, they can not only maintain their image in the face of Windows2000 but also improve it.

If by summer more companies begin using or INTEGRATING Novell technologies into e-commerce products.....I can't even begin to imagine the revenue streams. Whittman-Hart is just the tip of the iceberg IMHO. There are bigger players yet to come forward with their products. The BroadVision announcement was big - the product that comes from that announcement will be even bigger.

Here's another thing to consider - the EU (European Union) is investigating Windows2000 for "unfair competition and practices".

Actually my question is - if the EU takes action against MSFT and their new product - where does that leave NOVL's image/presence in Europe? (NOVL's fastest growth geographic area last FY).

Couple this news with the recent IBM/Novell deal in EUROPE and I can see something stirring. I suspect Novell (and IBM) senses an opportunity overseas. This could be real interesting.....
