I got a cold call last week from sales and decided to install. You are the first person I know that decided to sign up due to sales effort from the cable operator or @home. I'm curious why you did not sign up on your own and what they said to change your mind. Eric

This is my first post. Have been holding a chunk of ATHM since 10-98 when I bought a chunk of XCIT on the major dip. I guess you could say I am a very frustrated firm believer in this stock. While the numbers look good, three words keep coming to mind, "perception is reality." Frank you will become addicted to the speed. I have had it for the past 3 months. Love it. Here in the S.F. Bay Area ATHM can win some market share by meeting demand for installation. A friend of mine tried to order DSL but was told he was too far away from the center. He called TCI for @home and is now waiting until June. He will still order it, but @home needs to be right there when DSL drops the ball, they can't expect people to be content to wait 6 months.
