Adam, >A Denial of Service attack tool, stream.c, has been discovered which could cause Unix machines to
stop responding. It floods the host with ACK?s coming from random IPs with remote sequence
numbers.

CNBC just talked about the attacks on well known web sites, and said a lot of them don't have firewalls. Knock me over with a feather on that one. What you described floods the host with ACK?s coming from random IPs with remote sequence
numbers.
sounds like it might be difficult to detect, vs. all the ACKs coming from the same source (one hacker).

Turning this into an Intel relevant post, I hope Intel's web hosting service sites have protection against these low lifes. I would think that Intel, the corporation, would have years of experience doing this for their own corporate IT center.
