David, As always, people keep their problems secret.......Kind of like Hockeyfan's hair loss situation.....or Lorretta's horrible slice. Little known facts....are that 80% of cyber-crime comes from those who operate inside the enterprise.....and that On-line credit card fraud is many times that of bricks and mortar. I think there will come a time when the E-Commerce people...and the credit card people....will have to sit down, and develop a very secure system....one that takes care of the problems. 90% of E-Bay's users are regulars......would they welcome a biometric authentication system that would both protect them and make sure access was available?.....I think so. You know, the INSPASS system at airports speeds the traveler, who is willing to put down a hand print, through the airport. Imagine one bank of servers that would not allow unknown persons to enter.......keep the potential hackers out. Who knows......I just believe that as this issue becomes more public.......especially as it moves into credit card numbers and more sensitive data......IDX solutions may become more public too. Maybe it will take a high profile event that will make everybody just gosh darned afraid to give out a credit card number.......something that brings E-Tail sales to a grinding halt. Events like the ones we have seen yesterday and today must be at least getting people to do a little thinking. IDX is a (unknown) network security company. bg
