Yes indeed, the Saudi's are involved, and that is what is significant. They have also indicated that a "free fall" in crude prices will NOT be tolerated. This is a "sustainable" political position to take. <g> It will be hard for consuming nations to refute it.

I've opined in public that crude production will be increased, but not to the degree that many investors (or oil company execs) now perceive. The upward catalyst in the oil patch stocks will occur when players understand that a trickle of crude will be forthcoming from OPEC - NOT a flood.
