Not only does a commercial blue laser have to be available in quantity and be reliable, it has to be cheap enough. For the most part , we aren't talking about million dollar devices, we are talking about DVD and CDROM. A blue laser really doesn't do much commercially that other colored lasers don't do, it just does it more efficiently. That efficiency is wiped out if it costs too much. You're right, apparently nobody has one available that fits these 3 criteria.
Ot-- Guy, do you think you get your money's worth with Science magazine? Does it help you as an investor? I'm thinking of subscribing.
