Bill, the Media McCain has gotten in the last few weeks was due to his team and organization. They were trying to counter what Bush had already done. Bush was on every Sunday show before the last 2 primary's. McCain was on 1 prior to New Hampshire.
The press was calling G.W "the Nominee".
When Bernie Shaw was told by Forbes during the CNN debate ,that the debate was slanted toward Bush and McCain,it was true. They received more time for rebuttal and response than the other 3 candidates.
When Tim Russert skipped Alan Keyes in the nbc moderated debate, and it was evident that he did it on purpose.
The next day he was on CNN telling a caller to the interview that of" the "4" Men that were running for President, we may not all agree with their politcal views, but any one of the 4 could be president."
Hey Russert, there are more than 4 candidates for the office. Who gave him the right to narrow the field without consulting the rest of us?
The media wanted Bush.
